EWS — Economically Weaker Section
EWS
For households with an annual income up to ₹3 lakh. Priority is given to Maharashtra domicile holders.

₹2,000 – ₹5,000 / month

Eligible if

  • Household annual income ≤ ₹3,00,000
  • Applicant or spouse does not own a pucca house anywhere in India
  • At least one adult in the household has Aadhaar

Not eligible if

  • You or your spouse already own a house in Maharashtra
  • You have defaulted on a prior MHADA allotment
LIG — Low Income Group
LIG
For households with an annual income between ₹3 lakh and ₹6 lakh.

₹5,000 – ₹10,000 / month

Eligible if

  • Household annual income between ₹3,00,001 and ₹6,00,000
  • Applicant does not own a pucca house in the same district
  • Valid Aadhaar and PAN

Not eligible if

  • Income above ₹6,00,000 in the last financial year
  • Outstanding MHADA dues
MIG — Middle Income Group
MIG
For households with an annual income between ₹6 lakh and ₹12 lakh.

₹10,000 – ₹20,000 / month

Eligible if

  • Household annual income between ₹6,00,001 and ₹12,00,000
  • Valid Aadhaar and PAN
  • Maharashtra domicile or active employment in Maharashtra

Not eligible if

  • Income above ₹12,00,000 in the last financial year
  • Own more than one residential property in Maharashtra
Migrant Worker — Special Scheme
Migrant
Dormitory-style and single-room units for interstate and intrastate migrant workers employed in Maharashtra.

₹1,500 – ₹4,000 / month

Eligible if

  • Employed on a registered site, unit or establishment in Maharashtra
  • Employer-issued letter or e-Shram card
  • Aadhaar with current mobile linkage

Not eligible if

  • Already allotted a MHADA rental unit that is still active
  • Maharashtra domicile with permanent residence within 50 km of the unit
